Satara city was the capital of
the Maratha empire in the 17th century. Satara also known as grate freedom fighters .
Infront of old Rajwada a rounded circle Bagh (small rounded garden) call as "GOL BAGH" was since 1947.
The construction of this small
garden is in rounder shape that why this garden well known as Gol Bagh (गोल बाग).
Here we
found Rashtra Dhwaj Stambh which devote by Satara Electrical Company in 1947.
On Each 15th August and 26th January Flag Hosting
ceremony conducted with grate enthusiasm.
The statue of Shrimant Chhatrapati Pratapsinh
Maharaj Unveil by Chief Minister Yashwantrao Chavan in 15 August 1957. Statue
of Shrimant Chhatrapati Pratapsinh Maharaj is historical remark.
Everyone can read his grate struggle with Rango Bapu Gupte against British

The Garden is nicely decorated by huge coconut
trees. Atmosphere of this garden cool
during evening time. Fountain at evening time makes this place delightful.

are small two canons beside statue of Shrimant Chhatrapati Pratapsinh Maharaj Statue.
