Gulmohar (गुलमोहर) scientific name Delonix regia, the flame tree.

Gulmohar is a blooming tree in Vaishakha. This tree preserves green leaves for more than other trees even when it is not very large.

Gulmohar day celebration may be conducted firstly at Satara city (Maharashtra, India) in the world. This Gulmohar Day celebrate since 1999 at Satara.

1st May day is celebrated as 'Gulmohar Day' at Satara, is probably the first city in the world which celebrates this day. The day is celebrated in Satara since 1999.

In May, there is a blooming tree in Gulmohar. The tree is full of red-sweet flowers.
